GCD Picks

Every so often, I share some form of media or product that I've enjoyed. I call them GCD Picks. Some will have to do with my geeky interests, some will relate to my faith, and some will relate to fatherhood. They typically accompany another post, but you can find a full list below.

If I'm ever recommending a product, I'll create a special link to that item's listing on Amazon. If you decide you want to buy that item, you can click on the link, and purchase it. If you use my link, I will get a small percentage of the profit that Amazon would normally get. (The cost of the item will not be changed at all for you.) That will help me offset the costs of the website. So if you will be buying a product anyway, it would be nice if you could use the link in my post. Or, you can just click the banner ad at the top of this page before doing your Amazon shopping. (The exception would be if you are related to me. How to Make a Custom Box for Sabacc (a.k.a. the Han Solo Card Game)

This past weekend, I finished a project that's been in the works for over a year: a custom box for The Han Solo Card Game (referred to within the Star Wars universe as Sabacc). I've written in the past about my love for tabletop games . Occasionally, that hobby has inspired me to dip my toes into the DIY world.
